'Love the Planet' Digital Art
Personal Project
This piece started as an experiment after getting a drawing tablet. I wanted to step outside client work and explore care and connection to the earth through color and form.
I used True Grit Texture Supply brushes for their tactile, analog quality — they push against the flatness you usually get with digital illustration. The composition is an abstract landscape in soft pastels, with warm oranges and pinks in the sky moving into cool greens below.
The "Green New Deal" postage stamp element showed up during the process and I kept it because it strengthened the concept. The title "Love the Planet" came from adding this detail, which further emphasized the themes of environmentalism that were naturally evolving through the illustration. This piece represents the looser, more exploratory side of my practice.
